Crustaceans include lobsters, shrimp, and crayfish
Tell me more plz👍😁
Crabs are also crustaceans.
Ayza you were supposed to write a paragraph
Ayza write paragraph not 1 sentence.
A crayfish is a crustacean, that means it has its bones on the OUTSIDE of its body. Crayfish eat dead plants and animals that they find in the water. They also eat insects, worms, snails, frog eggs, and small fish. They are found in every continent except for Africa and Antarctica. They have claws/pincers, long antennae and short antennae, a carapace, and walking legs. The crayfish has a covering. The covering is a skeleton which is called the exoskeleton. They have many different names too, they are called crawfish, crawdaddies, mudbugs, and crabs.
What do you mean I agree?dont you have any thing to add on with Ian's thinking?
I agree with you Ian
I like the way you explained your thinking with us Ian
Cray fish have there skeletons out side there body. Cary fish can burrow under ground. As a cray fishes body gets bigger so dose it's Skelton. Cary fish bows through a process called molding. If a claw or some part of its body snaps of it will grow a new one. Cray fish eat small fish 🐜Insects, frog eggs and worms 🐛. 200 species of Cary fish in America.
What do mean, in the last sentence, 'Cary fish'?
Antennas help the crayfish sens movement and feel its way around.
Crayfish are crustaceans, they are red, brown, or gray and are 2-5 inches long. Crayfish have 5 legs, 2 pinchers, 4 antennae. Crayfish eat insects, worms, frog eggs, and small fish. They also eat dead plants and animals they find in the water. Many animals also eat crayfish like raccoons, large fish, turtles, snakes, and birds.
Do they really have 4 antennae?
What I learned was that crayfish are crustaceans. I also learned that crayfish are also called crawfish, crawdads, crawdaddies, crabs, and mudbugs. I also learned many crayfish live in fresh water, like bull sharks do. The last thing I learned from the article was that crayfish molt their exoskeleton.
A crayfish is like a fish but it has one different thing a crayfish has bones out side of its body also more than 200 crayfish live in North America
I disagree that crayfish is a fish
After a few days, a new skeleton hardens. This proses is called molding.
Crayfish are crustaceans. That means that their skeletons are
outside of their bodies. They live on every single continent on Earth, except for Africa and Antarctica. They eat insects, worms, snails, frog eggs, and small fish.
Cray fish are very interesting creatures A Cray fish has two eyes they stick out of the cray fish's head. These eyes can turn and see in any direction. The attenas on the cray fish help them science movement and feel it's war around. Cray fish are COOL😎
I saw crayfish have 2 eyes that stick off their heads. In the article, it said they are called mudbugs, crawdaddies, crawfish, crawdads and crabs. They live everywhere. In the south of America, people even eat them. They eat insects, worms, snails, frog eggs and small fish. Crayfish have an exoskeleton. If a limb falls off, they will grow a new one when they molt the next time. They can see in any direction because of how their eyes are mounted on to their heads. They are part of the animal group called crustaceans.
Cray fish can be 2-5 IN long. There are also different colors of crayfish, for example red brown or gray brown. They also have 5pairs of legs. Also they have an exoskeleton. Crayfish can regrow body parts.
A crayfish is a crustacean (it has bones outside of its body) crayfish eat dead plants and animals a crayfish looks like this. It has five pairs of legs . One pair of legs are at the head. All those pairs of legs are used for defense and to protect itself.
Do you know what the skeleton on the outside of the body is called?
I learned that:

Crayfish eat worms, snails, frog eggs, small fish, dead plants and animals that they find in water.
Many animals eat crayfish including raccoons, large fish, turtles, snakes, and birds.
Crayfish live in every continent except Africa and Antarctica.
Crayfish have exoskeleton and also goes threw molting. Molting is getting a new exoskeleton, and getting a new one. When they lose a piece of their body, sometimes they get them back by molting. Crayfish eat small fish, snails, worms, and insects. They eat by holding the food with its claws, then eating it in front of it. Crayfish also eat dead plants, and animals. Doing that, makes the water clean. You can put them in your tank to clean. Lots of animals eat crayfish such as turtles, snakes, big fish, turtles, and humans, too. Crayfish lives in a lot of places. They live in water with the just right temperature not to hot or cold. That means that they don't live in Antarctica or Africa. Their eyes can see in any direction so don't try to sneak up on them! They have pincers. Pincers are basically hands hat pinch and grab. They are also called claws. They go for many nicknames. Some are very funny, such as Crab, Crawfish, crawdaddy, crawdad. Very weird right? They come by many colors, too like red, dark brown, reddish brown, grayish brown and many others. What do these have common? Most are the color of their environment! When they dig in the dirt, they camouflage in the dirt.
Most Crayfish live in fresh water. Also, Crayfish have a exoskeleton. A Crayfish is a type of crustacean which means they have there skeleton outside there body. A Crayfish is about 5-12.5 centimeters long. Even people eat Crayfish. Crayfish eat insects, worms, snails, frog eggs, and small fish. Raccoons eat Crayfish. So do large fish. Also, turtles, snakes, and birds. People sell Crayfish. Did you know people also call Crayfish Crawfish. Crayfish have 5 pairs of legs. The crayfish is from a group of animals called the crustaceans. Crustaceans have their skeletons on the outside of their body. Crustaceans include lobsters, shrimp, crabs, and crayfish.
